ROOT CANAL TREATMENT: An opening is made though the CROWN of the tooth to the PULP CHAMBER; decay is removed and canals are cleaned out. The canals and PULP CHAMBER are filled, a post is usually placed in the tooth to stabilize it and support the final restoration.
